He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him. John 3:36
I was visiting with my brother-in-law last night about jealousy. He read a little scripture from kings about king Ahab. Scripture shows that Ahab provoked the Lord to jealousy more than any other king before him. Jeroboam, is famous among the Kings of Israel for provoking the Lord to anger. Ahab done even more than Jeroboam had to provoke the Lord!
How fearful a thing to fall into the hands of the living God!
God ordained that Ahab would fall in battle, and dogs would lick up his blood. Jeroboam’s seed was completely destroyed by king Baasha so there was not even a descendent left of him.
For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness. Romans 1:18
The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb: Revelation 14:10
I am not trying to preach scare tactics, but there is an urgency in returning to the living God! “Seek ye the Lord while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near” we have time and opportunity today. I know I fail, I sincerely ask for your prayers that I would do justice, love mercy, and walk humbly with my God. Come to him. He is mighty to save.
Amen, Stephen! Thank you for sounding the warning – we must do this!
