Will you hear what the spirit is saying to the churches?

All over the world today Christians are being persecuted. We often think of martyrs as a thing of the past. We think of the apostles or maybe reformation. What we fail to realize is that men and women are being martyred this very moment! And the devil has us comfortably cuddled up in our beds of ignorance and indifference.

I want to relate the story of a little girl in North Korea.

In North Korea it is against the law to be a Christian. You are not permitted the right to worship God, or own a bible.
A small family was discovered secretly having meeting in their home. The police came in with artillery ready and lined them up against the wall…
They gave them one last chance to be saved. Deny Jesus, spit on the bible, and worship the governor.

One by one the family complied… Afraid of men more than God. They each spat on the bible and left the house…

Then came up the 9 year old girl. She dropped to her knees before the bible just as her family had done.

Tears streaming down her face she carefully picked up the bible and began wiping the spot off of the cover.

She held it close to her chest as her final words echoed through the room…

I can’t deny my Jesus!

The shot was fired…
A shot that has echoed around the world as a call to believers…

Will you deny your Jesus?

Pray for these Christians in persecution! Pray that God will show you how to help. Be willing to get involved!
