Verse of the day. ~Believe~

john-7-38-2
In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink. He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water. John 7:37-38
Like the woman at the well, I was seeking
For things that could not satisfy.
And then I heard my Savior speaking—
“Draw from My well that never shall run dry.”

Jesus has given us freely the water of life. The spirit of God to flow within us.
Only this water can truly satisfy our souls…
Only this water is able to cleanse us…
We who were dead in sins and trespasses, now have in our hands a cup of water that is able to save us from the wrath to come.
And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.
We will be tempted by other waters. From the eyes of the flesh they are beautiful and appealing. They draw us to them like the ocean on a hot summer day. Tempting us to just stick our toes in.
Once we are in, we are drawn further away from the shore. No matter how far we go, it doesn’t seem far enough. The more we drink of that water, the thirstier we become and it never satisfies us!
Paul warned Timothy of these waters.
But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition.
Don’t drown in the waters of perdition! Repent of your sins. Stop chasing worldly riches and pleasures. Drink of the water of life that Jesus Christ has given us! Believe on him and he will do the rest.
Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean: from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you. Ezekiel 36:25
Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; Titus 3:5
