My flesh and my heart faileth: but God is the strength of my heart, and my portion for ever. (‭Psalms‬ ‭73‬:‭26‬ KJV)

I am sure there have been times you felt that your heart failed you. I have found myself in the clutches of fear and doubt more times than I would care to mention! Times when I knew that my strength was not sufficient for the task, that all I could do was lean on him till the storm passed. I have always known that he was there… Someway, somehow, I would hear that still small voice from the scripture;

“Fear not, Abram: I am thy shield, and thy exceeding great reward.”

It has always seemed that during the hardest times of my life, God would speak through a small passage of his word and give me strength. He is the strength of our hearts, and our portion forever! He gives us Grace, sufficient for the task.
The name of the Lord is a strong tower: the righteous runneth into it, and is safe.
Run to him, he is our strength and portion forever. Amen.
